What's up! It's been quite a bit of time since my last post -- I've experienced an amazing summer with RWS and Hersheypark in their Country Roads show, I've taken on the Assistant Director position for ECU's Mainstage production of Hands on a Hardbody, and I just removed my hump for the last time as Igor in ECU's Mainstage production of Young Frankenstein. But check it out, the excitement doesn't stop there. One of the biggest dreams of most musical theatre actors is to originate a role on an original cast recording; and y'all, I am so happy to announce that I will be doing just that on this Thursday! The original musical Velvet Over Steel (which can be listened and viewed more at this link: https://www.lisetteglodowski.com/music-lyrics/) will reunite its original cast to hit the studio and record the OCR of the show. I'll be revisiting the lead role of Walter Bloom, both a man torn between two worlds and two women in WWII-era Britain and a man I'm blessed to have been able to originate. The music is astoundingly beautiful and the storyline continues to show me more and more about the different ways love can breathe life into a person. Expect more details (and hopefully links) at a later date! Talk to y'all again soon!
